Paddling non-stop whitewater?
The Delta Whitewater Sprayskirt is engineered to keep you dry and recommended for whitewater up to Class 4. The Delta Sprayskirt is the first-ever packraft sprayskirt that won’t pool or implode because of the tensioned deck-stay. It features dual-zippered mesh accessory pockets for easy access to snacks, film equipment, or your GPS.
Another first, the water-resistant zippered tunnel fits most adults with the adjustable neoprene waistband. The suspenders are removable, allowing the sprayskirt to work with both non-tunnelled and tunneled paddling apparel. It is engineered to stay on your combing-ring, or to disengage easily with Rim Grip and Safety Slip technology.
All Delta Whitewater Sprayskirts are made in the USA with double-stitched and sealed seams.
Only use a sprayskirt when you are confident in completing a wet exit.
Start by installing your Combing-Ring Tube (INSTRUCTIONS HERE).
To place your skirt on, start at from behind your body and place the skirt over the cockpit rim.
Slowly work your way around the sides to your legs.
Put your thumbs underneath the ripcord area and in one motion snap it over the front of your cockpit rim.
Check to make sure the skirt is over all of the cockpit rim by running your hands around the edge of your skirt.
Make sure your rip-cord or pull tab is out.
Make sure your skirt is easy to get off.
If your having trouble putting your skirt on, get a friend to help you, they can face you from in front and pull it over the cockpit rim.
NOTE: It’s a good idea to complete a packraft course or get quality instruction before you use your skirt for the first time. Knowing how to remove your skirt is extremely important.
